Shipping policy

In this policy "off-the-shelf" items refer to items that have not been customized beyond what is explicitly offered as an option on the product page when placing an order.

"Custom" items refer to any item that detailed custom requests have been made which lead to a scope of work outside what is originally expected. This can be anything from additional engraving or personalization or a fully custom piece of furniture. 

 

Processing Lead Times

We are excited to have your order and are getting to work on it as quickly as possible. If we have any questions/clarifications to make your speedy response will help us stay within the estimated lead times. Our goal is to make sure you are satisfied with the result, therefore we cannot not rush any customized orders through without full information. Please be on the lookout for emails from us once your order is placed. 

All off-the-shelf orders (items ordered that do not have any custom requests made) are processed within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. If there are any delays you will be emailed as soon as they are realized, and updated regularly until the order is shipped.

For any custom items, meaning custom requests beyond what is explicitly available as options on the website, a lead time will be given to you when your quote is provided. 

For all holiday related orders

Please allow more lead time for processing holiday related orders. All orders should be places at least 3 weeks in advance of the holiday in order to arrive on time. We will do our best to get orders after the 3 week mark out in time, but cannot guarantee delivery prior to the holiday. 

 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Furniture/Bulk order shipping: For large items (custom furniture/counter tops, etc.), or bulk orders (i.e. multiple copies of the same sign) we will provide a custom shipping quote as these rates can change often. All large orders like these can be picked up locally for free, which can be discussed in detail during the quoting process.  

 

Local delivery

Local delivery is available for items/orders over $100. If you are local to Greenville or Winterville, NC, and are interested in local delivery please contact me directly or leave a note on your order. We will respond within 24 hours to determine if it is possible for your order and, determine if any refund is necessary for shipping costs. 

Deliveries are made from 9am-3pm on Fridays. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.

International Shipping

We currently only ship to the lower 48 US states and Canada

Calculated Rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at quarterwoodco@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

 

 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

All items that were not damaged in shipping and have not been used:

We offer a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee (Minus shipping costs) on all off-the-shelf items, as long you contact us within 10 days of receipt and the item is returned to us in the same condition it was delivered. 

We accept returns up to 10 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

For all custom orders: We will handle custom item returns on a case-by-case basis.

Any items that we deems can be repurposed will receive a full refund (minus shipping costs), once the item is returned in the same condition it was originally delivered. 

If an item cannot be repurposed we will offer a 50% refund, or develop a plan for the item to be replaced at no additional cost.

 

For items that are damaged upon delivery:

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at quarterwoodco@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
